Abstract
Space positioning information model and logic model of traffic facilities are established, by studying the internal organizational structure of Geodatabase model. On the basis of the data of Jilin province expressway, the spatial database is designed in detail with seamless integration of database management model, by analyzing the characteristics of spatial database of traffic facilities. The traffic management system is realized by secondary development of GIS, the software of which includes VB.NET, ArcGIS Engine and ArcSDE. The system implementation verifies the superiority of the GIS model, provides a scientific and efficient management tools for traffic facilities management.
