A Method of Optimizing Traffic Organization in Urban Riverside Areas

Abstract
Due to the geological and environmental conditions, the traffic organization of riverside road has unmatched features. Focusing on the various functions of riverside roads, such as sightseeing, leisure, and the traffic, the paper summarizes the features of riverside roads. By analyzing the riverside road functions, five weighted factors are introduced to optimize their traffic organization of riverside roads. The vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic and curb parking facilities on the riverside road are included in the traffic organization. Eventually, it gives an example of road traffic organization optimization program on in Changsha.
