Abstract
The focus of this paper is on the demonstration of the research on site optimization for bus stop, which is the basis of routes network design of public transit priority in China. The paper analyses the influence factors of bus stop site selection, and then under the guidance of the analyze, site selection is divided into two cases: vertical cross-sections and straight sections, while the vertical cross-sections is specifically divided into three cases: bus routes go straight, turn left and turn right. Correspondingly, models of location choice of bus stop for more than one route are set up basing on minimal time taking of passenger's trips to bus stop. At last, the models are applied to an example, and the results prove that there are important theoretical meaning and practical value of the study.
