Solving the Train Delay Problem with the Periodic Train Diagram

Abstract
Currently, railway passenger transportation has rapidly developed and the special passenger lines are vigorously building, at the same time, the problem that the impact of the train delay has become more prominent. In order to attract more passengers and improve the structure of the passenger transport, we introduce periodic train diagram to solve the problem from three aspects: operation distance, reserved lines utilization and the train stops.
