Optimum Index System of Bridge Maintenance Decision Based on Variable Weighting Theory
Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2009
Abstract
Index system for bridge maintenance is unaltered relatively in stage of bridge state evaluation. But during the bridge life, along with development of every part's material and change of technology, the index system of maintenance decision should be optimized aptly, even incarnate the change of maintenance regulation. Based on the execution of maintenance project, the method of data collection, which is needed by maintenance decision, is advanced qualitatively and quantificationally. The AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) is used in building index system that offers decision support specially. According as commendatory means of bridge colligation evaluation in "Highway Bridge Maintenance Criterion", confirm the weight of index in system of decision. Some weights of index's sensitivity are analyzed. The guarantee for decision support in bridge life is offered, by researching the index that has more affection to maintenance decision practically. It will offer intelligent support for the maintenance management leaders to making decision exactly before the danger.
