Abstract
Based on the study of the residents' trip mode characteristics and the principles, this paper analyzed the suitability of the TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) model in transit planning implementation in the city and the town. Under the guidance of the transit networks topology modeling theory, this paper analyzed four different transit networks. The method of node important degree and principle of graph theory is applied to identify the directions and the hierarchies of the transit corridors, which is feasible and appropriate for the towns in China.
