Abstract
Evaluating timing plan by micro-simulation technologies is the effective method for optimization of traffic signal control in urban intersection. According to every vehicle traffic parameters offered by traffic flow micro-simulation model and optimization objective of signal timing, the micro-simulation evaluation index and architecture are established. By taking the traffic efficiency, pollution, safety and energy consumption as evaluation subject, the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) is used to calculate weight, and the fuzzy evaluation method is used to give the value of comprehensive evaluation. Simulation evaluation software is developed by Visual C++ and used in the actual signalized intersection, the evaluation results and corresponding experiment control index show that the simulation evaluation method proposed can be used to compare the signal control scheme.
