Expressway Emergency Rescue Model Based on Dynamic Game Theory
Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2009
Abstract
Through analyzing the traffic accident management on expressway, this paper proposed a model based on dynamic game theory for expressway emergency rescue. Take the emergency rescue process as an incomplete information dynamic game process, the "traffic accident" and the "rescue decision-maker" is the two game players. Each of the game players has a strategy space. The traffic accident's strategy space contains all the states of accident. The decision-maker's strategy space contains all the rescue methods. In order to find the optimal rescue plan for the accident, we define a payment function by two independent variables, one is the rescue insurance rate, and the other is the cost. The model takes the rescue insurance rate as restrictions to minimize the cost. This model can help the emergency manager to make dynamic rescue plans, which could adjust dynamically when the state of traffic accident changes, so it keeps the decision-maker's strategy space practical real-time and ensure high stability. Finally, in the paper, give an example to elaborate the application of the model.
