Implementation Evaluating Model of Railway Freight Concentration Based on MAS

Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2009

Abstract

In order to make the freight transportation centralized, the Railway Freight Concentration (RFC) is put forward. It is the main form to closedown the freight transportation work of small transportation station which can be centrelized to some transportation-centralizing, well-equipped and reasonable-stationing station. The railway freight concentration (RFC) is one of the important measures and effective way of optimizing the transportation resources and reformming the transportation organizational method, so it is very essential to determine the implementation. The method of using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and analytic hierarchy process are used to solve it at present. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and analytic hierarchy process have not been able to evaluate the implementation objectively and scientifically because of mass of influencing factors and complex relationship. This paper has paied attention to the reseach of implementing of railway freight concentration on the bases of combing Multi-agent system (Multi-Agent System — MAS) technology with these two methods. MAS comprehensive evaluation model is established using MAS intelligence, each evaluating methods agent through the communication and collaboration can reach the result of implementing.
