The Application of Rough Set on Train Operation Adjustment

Abstract
As a new research method, Rough Set has been applied with tremendous success in Rough Control, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Analysis and Decision-making Support recently. Through analyzing the characteristics, methods, and research results of train operation adjustment, this paper discovers that Rough Set has enormous potentials in the research of train operation adjustment. Furthermore, it highlights the key issues to be resolved by analyzing existing research shortcomings from using Rough Set, which is helpful to build up the foundation for applying Rough Set in the field.
