Optimization Strategies and Location Model for P&R on Rail Network
Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2009
Abstract
Optimization strategies and location targets for four types of P&R facilities were advanced based on the theory of network-location. Secondly, according to the characteristic of urban traffic network, the location problem is modeled in popular type, namely a rail network or public transit model. Finally a heuristic greedy algorithm is provided for rail network model.
