Application of DEA in Sustainable Development Evaluation for the Logistics Industry

Abstract
Based on the basis of the evaluating feasibility analysis of the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), this paper introduces the DEA models and provides a demonstration of sustainable development evaluation for Chinese logistics industry. The research data show that the level of sustainable development is relatively low, at the same time, the conclusion indicates that the DEA method can scientifically evaluate the sustainable development of the logistics industry (SDELI), it has provided a new method and thought for the efficiency change and the improving measures of the system.
