Compositive Mechanism of Truckload's Freight Rate under Economic Deregulation

Abstract
In this paper, authors make an attempt to find out the structure of freight transport charge through the analysis of current market situations under the economic deregulation. Firstly, the historical transition of truckage system of Japan is described by and large. Secondly relevant effect factors for deciding freight rate are systematically analyzed according to actual rate concerning main shippers. Furthermore some models to express compositive mechanism of truckload's freight rate based on mileage system are constructed. Finally the relevant suitability of model is discussed and the influence degree of each constituent factor is derived.
