Abstract
In this paper, A new data integration method for Port Logistics Information System (PLIS) based on XML is introduced. On the basis of technical analyses both the Façade pattern interface and the Web Service data exchange platform, an integrated framework model of PLIS is constructed employing the Façade pattern interface and the Web Service data exchange platform. The method introduced in this paper effectively solves the problem of building a large-scale, complicated and comprehensive port logistics information system integration platform involving many independent subsystems.
