Traffic Volume Composite-Forecast Based on Grey Relation Projection Method
Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2007
Abstract
For traffic volume forecasting, forecast method selecting is very important in composite-forecast model. In this work, to improving the forecasting validity, the composite-forecast model was optimized according to the grey relation projection method and the related evaluation parameters. Furthermore, the optimized model was evaluated by calculating of actual data. The results show that the optimized model is more effective in traffic volume forecasting.
