Abstract
The geographical location of Chongqing is excellent. The railway transport, road transport and shipment are quite convenient. However, nowadays, most logistics companies in Chongqing are still at the preliminary stage of development. The freight stations have an advantageous geographical position, as the main stations are all located in the principal urban area of Chongqing, which is in favor of physical distribution. Based on the concept of modern logistics, this paper put forward the idea of establishing professional logistic joint terminals on the basis of current joint terminals. It designs the layout and proposal of implementation. Technologically economic analysis indicates that the proposal is good for improving the economic and social benefits of joint terminals.
