Abstract
This paper discusses the goals and evaluation criteria of supplier selection, and establishes a kind of evaluation model that combines entropy weight with TOPSIS. The basic idea of this model is to use the entropy weight method to determine the weight of each evaluation index firstly, then by TOPSIS to arrange all the evaluation targets and further to determine the most appropriate supplier. The paper has carried on an actual application of the evaluation model through a concrete example. This model can effectively avoid the influence of subjective factors that exist in the traditional evaluation methods. And thus, it can make comprehensive, concrete and objective evaluation of suppliers.
