Study on Microscopic Traffic Simulation System for ITS
Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2007
Abstract
Based on the analysis of the development of the microscopic traffic simulation and the characteristics of the microscopic simulation system for ITS, the system frame and the main technology for this system have been presented. According to the new features of ITS and the limitations of other old simulation systems, this system have the ability of easy expansibility, flexibility and it is suitable for ITS, with its layered system structure and the layered description of the traffic objects.
