Research on the Production Logistics System of Shipbuilding Enterprise Based on MRP and TOC
Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2007
Abstract
As a critical tache of enterprise logistics system, production logistics is an important component of enterprise production process and the significant bridge between separate subsystems in production, which contributes a lot in planning and realizing of other logistics systems to a large degree. Production logistics is more especially momentous to shipbuilding which is organized according to the order, accomplished long term, and cost high extraordinarily. Logistics construction is paid attention lately in shipbuilding Enterprises and technologies applied are not as advanced as in those developed countries, which slows down the progress of shipbuilding business. The status and characters of production logistics in shipbuilding enterprises are studied in detail in this paper. Also the key technologies are researched step by step. With the help of modern logistics management technologies, i.e. MRP and TOC, and supported by CSCW, the production logistics system of modern shipbuilding enterprise is constructed, the computer supported cooperative decision-making system is established, and the ship production technological process is optimized, while all kinds of manufacturing resources and information are organized and utilized reasonably and efficiently, which are helpful to shorten the ship production period and improve the shipbuilding technology.
