Abstract
This article brings forward the research thinking and process of composite DEA method of the evaluation for synthetic transportation system's sustainable development, and makes a demonstration analysis of evaluation for Chinese synthetic transportation system with a longitudinal and macroscopic visual angle. Firstly, we provide the composite DEA method based on exterior coordination and interior synthetic aiming at the flaws existing in the traditional DEA model on its sustainable development evaluation for transportation system; secondly, taking the synthetic transportation system as an input and output, establish a composite DEA model of sustainable development evaluation for synthetic transportation system. Grounded on them and according to the open issued index data, separately make the evaluation for Chinese synthetic transportation system's sustainable development in 1993∼2005, receiving some valuable information.
