Forecast Method of Expressway Longitudinal Operating Speed Based on Genetic-Neural Networks

Abstract
Through organic combine the genetic algorithm and neural network, training and checking samples for genetic-neural network based on the actual operating speed measured on expressway was established in this paper. Also the program compilation was made use of the functions in Matlab7.04 neural network toolbox and genetic algorithm toolbox and a operating speed (V85) neural network forecast model on the longitudinal sections of expressway based on genetic algorithm established. Then compare the forecast outcome with actual data. The results show all genetic-neural network models are reliability with high forecast precision. It has higher reference value for Chinese alignment design method by operating speed and alignment quality evaluation.
