Abstract
The needs of Olympic spectators in different stages of the walking chains are thought in a whole, when they being on the way between traffic facilities and venue and in the entrance/exit spots. Pedestrian characteristics are analyzed in ingress and egress, based on observations in related area. According to the simultaneous analysis on pedestrian traffic characteristics and behaviors, pedestrian management blueprint of Olympic venue will be drawn out under related condition, which is the basement of pedestrian simulation. The pedestrian simulation model should be the valid method to evaluate the results of cases, key criteria being traffic flow characters. The method of pedestrian simulation is practical on evaluation on the different project of construction, management and operation.
