Autonomous Dial-a-Ride Transit: Software Functionality and Architecture Overview

Abstract
This paper outlines the software for a modernized version of dial-a-ride called ADART. It is a sequel to the original concept paper, which addresses service costs and benefits from the point of view of the operator and customer. In contrast, this paper maps ADART's features and operation into software, describing the functionality of it major subsystems in order to provide a brief overview of how the system works from the perspective of an engineer.
