Urban Inter-Modal Transport Hub Planning in Metropolitan Area of Guangzhou

Abstract
Urban transport is a complex system which consists of multi-transport modes and the services level of transport system is determined by the transferring organization among different transport modes. In this paper, the method of urban inter-modal transport hubs (UITH) planning in metropolitan area of Guangzhou is introduced, particularly to its process of transport demands forecasting in which the START and TRIPS models are employed. Finally, some forecasting results as well as transport infrastructure analysis are also given by this paper.
