Abstract
In this paper, the current situation and criterion concerning the overload transportation in our country are presented; the basic thought, system composing, technical request and functional character on how to design the WIM device are introduced; the mathematics processing method is also discussed. It is confirmed that the weighbridge-sensor-base system of the portable WIM device owns the second-order character by the experiments. After being acted on by the cutting tail unit Step Function and mathematics simulation, it is indicated that the system may reduce the extra-impulse of the system responding by adjusting the damp of the system. The axle weight signal in high or low speed is measured with portable WIM device, and the computer distinguishing chart for the axle weight is presented.
