Abstract
The Government Strategy of Development in the Western China is under preparation for its implementation. It is a critical moment to develop a modern continental logistics in China West as an important stepping-stone for the success of the Strategy. This paper puts forward a new direction and a master plan for Government, academics and the logistics industry to consider after they have concentrated their effort too much on economic areas with ports and airports. The opportunities to develop various inland logistics hubs in. the China West region are emerging. This triggers off a process of logistics continentalization.
