Abstract
Determining the wagon flow path is important in the management of the railway makeup. The decisions of wagon flow path affect the efficiency and benefit of transportation of railway network. In view of the limitation of the present research work in the satisficing domain, some concepts of the generalized satisfactory degree are defined and characterized, and the multi-objective optimization based on the generalized satisfactory degree theory are developed. From the viewpoint of systematology, the shortage of the single optimization in the wagon flow path is discussed, and an improved linear optimization model for the multi-objective optimization considering both bothway and empty-loaded train certain transportation requirement is established. An example is given by use of the multi-objective optimization based on generalized satisfactory degree theory. The result of the example shows that the theory and method developed in this paper is effective.
