An Application of Sensitivity Analysis Based on Road Network Capacity to Road Network in Sapporo City

Publication: Traffic and Transportation Studies (2000)

Abstract

In this paper we discuss the method of searching for the cuts for sensitivity analysis to quantitatively analyze the effects that various transportation demand management (TDM) have on the road network capacity. The method based on the Incremental Assignment Simulation technique is applied to large road network in Sapporo City. The sensitivity analysis for various TDM alternatives are made on the basis of the proposed inter-area sensitivity cut matrix.
