Hierarchical Analyzing Tools for Urban Traffic Management

Abstract
The paper addresses a laboratory tool for urban traffic management studies, which combines the merits of macro and micro traffic model. Based on the development and application of the model system, the article analyzes some key technologies in practice needing to be resolved in concordance with the natures of urban traffic in Beijing. Some preliminary results of application in Beijing show that the model system can play a important role in assisting traffic engineer making good decisions of traffic management.
