Environmental Internet of Things (EIoTs) has been proposed for real-time monitoring of environmental factors, including water, soil, air, noise, and wind. A big challenge in developing EIoTs is how to guarantee the perpetual operation of millions or even billions of sensor nodes deployed in suburban areas, depopulated zones, natural reservations. This Special Collection aims to collect the latest research advances into recovering energy from environments.
