The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted Engineering and Construction projects throughout the world. AEC projects faced unprecedented challenges coping with the new circumstances as well as understanding their legal and contractual impacts. In this context, the Journal of Legal Affairs and Dispute Resolution in Engineering and Construction presents a special issue on ‘Legal and Contractual Implications of COVID-19 on Construction Projects’. This peer-reviewed special issue features a collection of articles for enhancing our understanding on how to better tackle such situations by identifying and addressing the plethora of administrative and legal challenges posed by the pandemic.
