10th International Conference on FRP Composites in Civil Engineering

The special collection on the 10th International Conference on FRP Composites in Civil Engineering is available in the ASCE Library (https://ascelibrary.org/jccof2/iifc_conference_2020).

The International Institute for FRP in Construction (IIFC), which cosponsors the ASCE Journal of Composites for Construction (JCC), holds the creation and dissemination of knowledge as its core activities. This special collection includes extended versions of papers presented at the 10th International Conference on FRP Composites in Civil Engineering (CICE 2020/2021), an IIFC flagship conference that was held on December 8–10, 2021, in Istanbul, Turkey. These papers were selected by the CICE 2020/2021 International Scientific Committee, then extended by the authors per ASCE’s policy, and peer-reviewed following the standard process of the JCC.

The objective of this special collection is to present notable contributions to the state-of-the-art and state-of-the-practice on the use of polymer- and cement-matrix composites in civil engineering structures. This special collection covers a broad range of topics, including all-FRP structures, FRP-reinforced and FRP-prestressed concrete, rehabilitation of concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures, concrete-filled FRP tubular components, confinement applications, bond behavior for different composites and substrates, durability, and structural performance under fire, design, codes, and standards.
