Retraction: “Object-Oriented Damage Information Modeling Concepts and Implementation for Bridge Inspection”

The paper, “Object-Oriented Damage Information Modeling Concepts and Implementation for Bridge Inspection” by Mathias Artus and Christian Koch published online on July 27, 2022 in the Journal of Computing in Civil Engineering [https://doi.org/10.1061/(ASCE)CP.1943-5487.0001030] is being retracted at the request of the authors. Parts of one of the test model files were created by a student who was closely supervised by the authors, and Figs. 15 and 23, which were created by the authors, depict visualizations of the test model file. The authors sincerely apologize for not properly acknowledging the student’s work. Because the student does not agree to including their name in an acknowledgment, the authors have decided to retract the paper.
