A font error during composition caused an character to incorrectly appear in certain mathematical expressions throughout the paper, including the title. The title of this paper should have been:
“Modeling Strain-Rate Dependent Behavior of -Consolidated Soft Clays”
In addition, the following errors in text should be noted.

On p. 741, in the first sentence of the subsection “Determination of Parameters,” the term should read .
•
On p. 743, in the third sentence of the subsection “Comparison between Two Strain-Rate Parameters and ,” the term should read .
•
On p. 747, in the first sentence of item 3 in the Conclusions, the term -consolidated should read -consolidated.
•
On p. 747, in the first and second sentences of item 6 in the Conclusions, the terms should both read .
•
On p. 748, in the title of the Zhou et al. (2005) reference, the term -consolidated should read -consolidated.
