Editor’s Note

This issue contains the editorial “Systematic and Sustainable Reform in Engineering Education.” This editorial explains why engineering education is an important and promising field of scholarly activity for colleges of engineering. Also in this issue, the technical papers cover the topics of hydrology, water quality, airborne pollutants, wastewater treatment, biosensor development, composting, groundwater remediation, and water treatment. Authors of these papers are from the United States, Thailand, Taiwan, Greece, Egypt, Canada, and the Netherlands.
