Please note that owing to an unfortunate editorial error, the material constants for Ottawa sand in Table 1 were mistakenly duplicated from those of another sand. The correct material constants for Ottawa sand used in the model test by Wu and Helwany (1996) are given in Table 1.

The model parameters were calibrated using triaxial test results reported by Helwany and Wu (1995). The result of the calibration is shown in Fig. 2 in the original paper.
