Abstract
Some factors in planning of marinas are evaluated, including determinations required to establish site, size, and tributary area. Possible conflicts with other water resource uses are enumerated. The required planning is approached from a conceptual viewpoint, with primary emphasis given to the full-scale marina developments required near densely populated urban areas.
