Laser Multilateration

Abstract
It is possible that lasers can be used as light sources in a technique of simultaneous geodetic measurement of more than one line or of a closed polygon by using carefully aimed mirrors to redirect the light beam along the lines being measured. Aiming of the mirrors was tested experimentally at distances up to 1,000 ft. Axial changes in mirror positions do not significantly affect total path distance in this technique.
