Impact of the Computer on the Young Engineer

Abstract
The advantages of computers have caused shifts in the emphasis that employers place on a graduate's skills. Examination of computer practices in one large engineering firm indicate the reasons for and purposes of the use of a computer. Changing professional requirements are implied. Longer undergraduate work may now be used to study fields previously neglected.
