Long-Span Buried Structure Design and Construction

Abstract

Corrugated-metal buried conduits have been used as drainage structures for many years, and in the past two decades, as grade separations, bridge substitutes, and protective structures. Such structures, other than the very smallest, are constructed by bolting together curved, corrugated metal plates.
