Preparation of Friable Aguiferous Specimens
Publication: Journal of the Hydraulics Division
Volume 106, Issue 2
Abstract
This note describes the procedure adopted for the preparation of friable limestone and sandstone specimens of markedly variable lithology taken from the post-Cretaceous succession of the Kalahari Basin. These laboratory studies have been carried out in support of a program of regional ground-water resource evaluation. It is hoped that the procedure devised will serve as a guide to those faced with similar problems elsewhere.
