Hydro System Power Analysis by Digital Computer

Abstract
Studies in North Pacific Div Office of Corps of Engineers made on electronic digital computer with program that can handle systems of up to 70 hydroelectric projects in 2000-word internal memory of IBM 650; program computes power generation at each project in system, tests for limits, adjusts regulation where necessary to avoid violation of these limits, regulates storages to produce energy equal to specified system load, and derives additional information that is used in system regulation analysis.
