Abstract
During the past few decades, British engineers have performed extensive research into the principles underlying the formulation and injection of various types of grout, and have carried these researches into practice on numerous sites, both in the United Kingdom and overseas. The extent of the accumulated knowledge thus acquired in field and laboratory has been demonstrated at the Symposium on Grouts and Drilling Muds, held in London, in May, 1963.
