Abstract
This paper reviews steady-state drainage theories of problems, especially those solved after 1955. Those interested in previous work may consult Luthin, Harr, and Polubarinova Kochina. Some bibliographies covering both theoretical and nontheoretical titles are those of Davis and Gould, 5 and of the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage.
