1963 ASCE Salary Survey

Abstract
The salaries paid to civil engineers in the last quarter of 1963 are 5.6% higher than those reported in the 1961 salary survey. The accompanying figures and tables illustrate the salaries and percentage increases for the five major employment categories in the civil engineering profession. Geographical comparisons are made for the three preprofessional and nine professional grades in the ASCE system of classification of civil engineering positions.
