ABSTRACT
Through a soil box laboratory testing, the objective of this paper is to provide installation details for application of structural polymeric spray applied pipe liners (SAPLs) in pipe and culvert renewals. SAPL is a trenchless pipe renewal technology, which uses spray applied polymeric materials to line the deteriorated pipes internally, improves the structural integrity of the old pipes, and extends their design life. This paper will demonstrate the procedure for installation of polymeric SAPL inside deteriorated corrugated metal pipes (CMPS) and provide the installation details of instruments involved in the SAPL structural evaluation test setup.
