ABSTRACT
The new mobility of urban traffic, shared bicycles and online car hailing have a great impact on traffic congestion. Sharing bicycles attracts some private motorized travel, and the carpooling mode of online car hailing also increases the efficiency of motorized travel. However, online car hailing also attracts some non-motorized transport and increases urban road congestion. Through the big data of new mobility travel and questionnaire survey, this study first analyzes the user profiles of two new mobility forms. Then it analyzes the impact of new mobility on traffic modes. Finally, combined with urban road data, it obtains the impact of new mobility of urban traffic on motorized traffic travel time, and quantitatively analyzes the contribution of new mobility forms of urban traffic congestion alleviation in China.
