The Mechanism and Exploration of Trip Distribution Model

ABSTRACT
This paper summarizes the trip distribution model of the traditional four-stage forecasting method and proposes a new model to explore the internal logic of trip distribution prediction by analyzing the shortcomings of the classical trip distribution forecasting methods. The general idea of constructing a trip distribution model based on the new theory of attraction strength law and trip distribution law is proposed, and a new conceptual model is established based on this theory. This paper analyzes the mechanism of trip distribution and points out that in order to improve the prediction accuracy of the model, travel purposes should be divided according to categories in practical application. The new model is highly explanatory and simple in form.
