Publication: CICTP 2022
ABSTRACT
Traffic congestion is still serious problem in large and medium-sized cities. It becomes possible to study on the rule of traffic flows with the development of multi-source data and information technology. This paper proposes a model to estimate urban traffic status with the traffic data of Yangpu District of Shanghai from March 2017 to March 2019. With ARIMA model, it is found that there is a strong time autocorrelation of morning peak speed in Yangpu District. In addition, the congestion model of urban traffic status is proposed, and the current situation of Yangpu District in 2018 is evaluated. Several typical congested sections are found and the corresponding causes of congestion are given. The results can give more decision support to relevant departments.
