Research on the Influence of Wheel Set Elastic Mode on Wheel Rail Contact Geometric Parameters and Wear Index

ABSTRACT
In recent years, many scholars have studied the influence of wheel set torsion and bending deformation on wheel rail contact point. The vertical and transverse creep of wheel rail in the first-order bending natural frequency of wheel set has been analyzed, but the influence of elastic modal characteristics of the wheel set on wheel rail contact geometric parameters and wear has not been systematically studied. Most studies focus on the impact of line excitation on wheel wear and the impact on vehicle dynamic performance before and after wear, but less on the wheel rail contact characteristics caused by the structural characteristics of the wheel set. This paper systematically explores the influence of wheel set elastic mode on wheel rail contact geometric parameters and wear index and explores the influence degree of different modes on wheel contact geometric parameters and wear under different working conditions.
